Transferring the Aircon Unit

If you are planning to relocate to a new house, it is possible to transfer also your aircon unit. This should be the case since we all know how expensive it is right? That means we can save more if we will just dismantle the equipment and install it to another location.

But the real problem is disassembling an aircon especially if it is a split-type. Window types are fine, because you simply need to pull it out from the previous slot on the wall. The split-type is different so you need to hire a qualified technician.

How much will it take to dismantle a split type aircon?

Dismantling service starts from Php 3,000 and above. This is the minimum rate depending on the horse power of the system and the brand. I once inquired initially dismantling a Panasonic aircon and was told that the price is Php 4,000 in total.

After removing it from the initial location, installing it to the new building may again involve the same installation rate applied to brand new units. You see, the labor cost is covered in this service.

You may opt to have it delivered to the destination at a fee, usually Php 900, or simply bring it on your own vehicle.
